President – Ryan Cole

Ryan Cole is a 3rd year Clinical PsyD student in the Generalist Concentration in the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy track. He completed his diagnostic practicum at The Family Clinic at UIC and is currently doing his therapy practicum at John Stroger Jr. Hospital. Currently, he holds his MA in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School and a victim’s advocate license. He has been married for four years, and his family includes two cats and a fat bunny rabbit. In his spare time, he enjoys playing soccer, basketball, and reading. Ryan is working to create a stronger sense of community among Chicago School students, and serving as an advocate between the student body and administration.

Hi! I’m Chiasa and I am a 2^nd year I/O Master’s student hoping to go into Consulting. I graduated from University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) with a B.S. in Psychology and a B.M. in Violin Performance. I currently play in the Chicago Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra and love having fans attend my concerts! I’m also a HUGE Georgia fan – if you’re an SEC fan, come talk to me or let’s go watch some football games! This will be my 2nd year being Director of Student Programming, and am very excited to plan events for this coming year. If you have any suggestions, please email us!

Director for Community Advocacy – Alexis Silas

Alexis Silas is a 3^rd year Clinical PsyD student in the Child & Adolescent concentration in the Humanistic/Existential track. She believes that CSOPP students are passionate about raising awareness of mental health issues in the Chicago area, and looks forward to helping students connect with events and service opportunities in the community. In her spare time, Alexis has been known to make a “mean gazpacho.”

Missy Govier is a 3rd year Clinical PsyD Student in the Generalist Concentration in the Humanistic/Existential track. She completed her diagnostic practicum at Nowell and Associates in Naperville, and is currently doing her therapy practicum at Self Improvement Through Awareness. She holds a MSW from Columbia University in New York and a MA in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School. In her spare time she enjoys playing tennis, Rockband and board games.
