ANNUAL SOFTFALL/VOLLEYBALL PICNIC!

FRIDAY JUNE 26, 2009!!

Nearly a year has passed since a scrappy band of student hurlers and hitters again toppled the once mighty faculty/staff team. Join President Horowitz, Dr. Grant “Coach” White, and the rest of the Wells Street/Merch Mart regulars for what history will record simply as “The Rematch, Part II.”For those seeking other means of spirited competition, a new tradition begins this year: the Students/Alumni vs. Faculty/Staff Volleyball Tournament ’09.

All are welcome to participate in the action or just watch, eat, and enjoy an afternoon among friends. As always, families and sparkling weather are invited.

WHEN: Friday, June 26, noon until 3:30 p.m.
Warm-up: 12 – 12:30, Game starts at 12:30WHERE: Grant Park, Roosevelt and Columbus, Field #12 (Just a softball throw away from the Taste of Chicago.)

FOOD: Picnic lunch will be provided!

EQUIPMENT: Bats and balls will be available, but you are welcome to bring your own. Bring your own mitt or share with a friend.
