| Nearly a year has passed since a scrappy band of student hurlers and hitters again toppled the once mighty faculty/staff team. Join President Horowitz, Dr. Grant “Coach” White, and the rest of the Wells Street/Merch Mart regulars for what history will record simply as “The Rematch, Part II.”For those seeking other means of spirited competition, a new tradition begins this year: the Students/Alumni vs. Faculty/Staff Volleyball Tournament ‘09.
All are welcome to participate in the action or just watch, eat, and enjoy an afternoon among friends. As always, families and sparkling weather are invited. |
WHEN: Friday, June 26, noon until 3:30 p.m. Warm-up: 12 – 12:30, Game starts at 12:30WHERE: Grant Park, Roosevelt and Columbus, Field #12 (Just a softball throw away from the Taste of Chicago.) FOOD: Picnic lunch will be provided! EQUIPMENT: Bats and balls will be available, but you are welcome to bring your own. Bring your own mitt or share with a friend.
